Turning Off Social Media for One Month

You might recall that I like to take the month of August off, and that I stayed off social media for the entire month. Well, little did I know that there is an actual movement that is trying to get people to disconnect from the online world on January 1, called the Big Turn Off. They were interested in my story and they printed an interview with me yesterday on their blog. (Yes, I know it is borderline ironic that a turn off movement has a Web site and a blog and that they did an e-mail interview with me, but I think the point is that we need to be in control of the tools and not vice versa.) Anyway, I hope you don’t find my interview a big turn off.
