For Internet marketing, content is king no more

For those of you that remember the Internet ten years ago, the expression “Content Is King” will ever hold a place in your memory. As a way of contrasting the secret of Internet success with what worked in the olden days, that phrase helped sum up an important insight, but it was never the whole picture. Today, the Web has changed to become a medium that connects people to other people, often through content, but not always. Mike Moran

Mike Moran is a Converseon, an AI powered consumer intelligence technology and consulting firm. He is also a senior strategist for SoloSegment, a marketing automation software solutions and services firm. Mike also served as a member of the Board of Directors of SEMPO.
