Inside Social Media Marketing

Marketing Executives Networking Group (MENG)I had the opportunity to speak to MENG’s October meeting on Friday. Now I realize that MENG’s sounds like a Chinese restaurant, but it’s actually the Marketing Executives Networking Group—I am a member of the New Jersey chapter and was happy to meet some other folks from the organization. The thing I like the most about MENG is the e-mail list, where every day you get several messages from other members looking for help on various subjects. In addition to it being a great resource when you need help yourself, it’s a great way to network with people to be able to reach out and give them a helping hand. I like that a lot better than sending an e-mail asking to meet someone. This way, you are helping them and if the relationship naturally progresses further, great. Anyway, I though you might be interested in a peek at my slides on Inside Social Media Marketing. If you’re not a member of MENG, and you’re a high-level marketing exec, I highly recommend the group.
