  1. SEO and content marketing go hand and hand. you cannot have great seo without great content. Even if you were you somehow achieve top ranks without great content, your visitors will quickly leave your site and hurt your average time spent on page, that even if your click through rate might be high, your time spent on site will hurt your rankings and you will drop quickly. so content marketing and SEO have to go hand in hand for over all success.
