What is your favorite hero in fiction?

Rocky Balboa. He is an underdog known for his indomitable spirit and tenacity. In the movie Rocky, he is depicted as an everyman who overcame obstacles in his life and career to become successful.

What is a hobby of yours?

I have two hobbies, fixing things up, making them better – particularly renovating homes. My husband and I have renovated 6 homes over the past 30 years.  And, I am an avid road cyclist belonging to a variety of cycling groups here in Arizona and riding 200 plus miles a week. 

What is the last book read?

The Impossible Climb: Alex Honnold, El Capitan, and the Climbing Life

Mark Synnott’s provides a window on the ethos of climbing, covering his friend Alex Honnold’s astonishing free solo ascent of El Capitan’s 3,000 feet of sheer granite.

Why do you do what you do?

I do what I do because I believe in the power of the human spirit to reach extraordinary levels, and I am passionate about helping people and organizations continually strive to achieve great things.

What is your latest accomplishment?

Helping a food ingredient client analyze and map the influencer landscape and develop a strategy to reposition its brand.  

What would you say is your chief characteristic?

I’m part nutrition scientist and part creative marketer with very strong foresight and conceptual thinking skills.  I constantly question the status quo as an agent of change and believe there is always a way to continuously improve.
